Care over profit
At Bold Leap, our commitment to prioritising care over profit sets us apart. We focus on the well-being and outcomes of the children and young people we care and support, investing in our team to ensure they’re equipped to provide best practice and the highest quality care and support.
Experience in care.
Bold Leap stands out due to the extensive and direct experience of its founder, Peter Buturo, in the field of children in care. With a background as a residential support worker, an 11-year practice as a social worker, and personal experience as a foster carer since 2019, Peter brings experience in care that many competitors cannot.
A growing company.
As we expand and scale, numerous opportunities will continue to emerge for staff members to progress within our organisation. Along with our commitment to children and young people, we’re also dedicated to offering employees pathways to fulfilling their professional aspirations.
Led by Peter Buturo.
Peter Buturo’s journey from a residential support worker to the owner of Bold Leap reflects his dedication to making a difference in children's and young people's lives. His leadership style and passion have created a workplace where everybody is inspired to contribute to the well-being of those we care for.
Strong company values.
We thrive on a solid organisational culture based on values such as diversity, appreciation, and fairness. By appreciating uniqueness, encouraging open communication, and prioritising fairness, we ensure our work environment reflects our dedication to creating a positive change.

What People Say About Bold Leap
I was a big fan of the Bold Leap placement that I moved a new LAC on 29/07/2021. The home was clean, smelt really good and felt like a warm family home. The key worker onsite was very helpful and great at settling in.
I should have taken more photos but wanted to share the attached as his bedroom – which just looks far more welcoming than other providers we use routinely. Plus, they had him a toiletry set all made up for him. Overall, just lovely 😊

Bold Leap is owned by an experienced social worker and foster carer who totally understands the needs for children in care. This is a breath of fresh air as Peter's child centred approach has been evident throughout the time, we had placed a young person at Bold Leap in 2022. It really helps when you are working with a provider that cares.
Social WorkerLondon Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham Bold Leap have been amazing in supporting my young person who needed an urgent placement via emergency duty team (EDT) in 2023. Bold Leap willingness to accept an emergency referral out of hours was extremely helpful. My young person thoroughly enjoyed his time at Bold Leap. We had seen a reduction of missing episodes and engagement with professionals.
Social WorkerWalsall Council Bold Leap did some exceptional work in supporting our young person who was under a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) in 2021.
Social WorkerCumbria County Council Bold Leap level of accommodation for my young person in 2022 was nice. It highlighted the standard of living was very high. Young people need to feel comfortable and safe within their surroundings.
