Our supported accommodation goes beyond providing shelter. At Bold Leap, we prioritise the holistic well-being of our young people by assisting with:

Accommodation

We aid in securing fully furnished West Midlands accommodation tailored to each young person’s social, personal, and cultural preferences. This includes both standalone and shared, semi-independent accommodation for young people aged 16 – 17 years old.

Financial Skills

We recognise the importance of financial literacy and provide young people with essential money management skills such as budgeting and saving. Our commitment extends to offering practical and helpful advice to ensure every young person’s preparedness for adult life.

Life Skills

Navigating young adult life comes with challenges like living alone, seeking support, budgeting, and more. However, it doesn’t need to be a daunting experience. With Bold Leap’s independent toolkit, young people can benefit from our advice. As well as developing practical skills for living independently, such as cooking, housework, budgeting and personal self-care.

Health

We understand the health and mental health needs of young people and support them to access services and medication where appropriate and/or necessary, such as working with young people to encourage them to attend appointments or supporting young people to put measures in place for them to manage their own medication responsibly. These healthy foundations are designed to extend throughout a person’s life.

Education

We understand the transformative impact of education, and as such, we’re dedicated to guiding young people in identifying and pursuing their unique interests to access education, training, and/or employment.

Equally, working in partnership with relevant professionals such as Virtual School Heads (VSHs) to promote the educational achievement of young people and enabling young people’s access to a suitable range of high-quality education options.

Bold Leap provides a range of accommodation options tailored to individual preferences. Our fully furnished West Midlands properties include standalone and shared accommodation that ensures a variety of choices for young people aged 16 – 17.

Yes— at Bold Leap, we understand the importance of individual expression and preferences. We work closely with young people to match them with accommodation that aligns with their social, personal, and cultural preferences, allowing for a comfortable and supportive living environment.

We’re committed to the holistic development of all our young people. We work together with other professionals, including the accommodating authority to ensure the agreed plan for progression is followed. This enables the young person to be supported for leaving the care system. We believe that Joint planning should start early and should involve the young person throughout so that transitions are managed effectively and according to the young person’s development needs.
